Martin Helda was born in San Jose, California where he attended Willow Glenn High School. Martin knew from a very young age that he he had an entrepreneurial spirit, and after graduating from high school, he embarked on his mission to start his own successful business.
He got his beginnings in the flooring business with his father with an apprenticeship when he was just 15 years old, and he rose up to become a supervisor at the age of 20.
After this, Martin was ready to take the next step and at age 21, he took the California State Contractors License Exam, where he became one of the youngest people in the state to pass the exam.
Since then, Martin achieved his dream when he started his first business, All Bay Area Floors, a commercial flooring company which has been growing for more than 12 years and now has over 60 employees. Martin takes pride in the fact that All Bay Area Floors is the largest non-union shop in the entire San Francisco Bay Area.
On a personal level, Martin Helda is a huge fan of classic cars and is currently restoring Mustangs. Martin is also a loving father who enjoys spending time with his kids participating in sports and enjoying quality time on family vacations.
